Family Ministry

A fun, creative, loving, and disciple-making community!

We create an environment where children learn and share “the good news of Jesus Christ with open minds and loving hearts.”

Every child is perfectly created by God, loved by God, and can share God’s love in the world! We help your family create this foundation of faith by engaging sacred scripture, hands-on experiential learning for children, and family resources.

Kids Adventure Camp 2023

Ages 2( UCC church members) – 3rd Grade.

Registration for UCC Members begins March 1; Open registration begins April 1

Adult and Youth Volunteer Registration begins March 1

UCC Kids Adventure Camp is a place to ask big questions and have fun exploring the answers.

What if God was bigger than you ever imagined?

UCC Kids Adventure camp  invites your camper to ask the big questions about God and explore how God can be seen in the vastness of creation, the power of community and even in their own hearts. Through games, science, service, creativity and lots of fun activities, we will explore the vastness of God’s love for each of us and our ability to share God’s love in the world. Kindergarten-Third grade will enjoy an outdoor camp each day while our preschoolers (Twos-Pre-K) will meet in our preschool classrooms.

Children’s Worship

All children of all ages are welcome in all of our worship services. See services times and get directions here.

Children’s Worship at 9 am and 11 am for preschoolers (in south preschool wing) and elementary (outside on playground) is child-focused and child-led. Our year-long series, The Heart of God, bringing a fresh approach to growing a lifelong relationship with God. Kids will explore God’s character throughout the Bible and learn how God transforms them from the inside out. Kids discover what it means to reflect God’s Heart in everyday life. All ages will experience the same scripture and theme each week, allowing for conversation in the family throughout the week.

Communion for All

Children’s Worship will incorporate the elements of communion, too.

All ages are welcome at Christ’s table, including children. We encourage children to take part in the Lord’s Supper, when the family feels they are ready, as they are an important part of our worshiping community.
