Hello, and welcome to the UCC Youth Ministry page! UCC Youth is for students in grades 6-12 and is usually divided by middle school (Chi Rho) and high school (CYF). Fellowship, faith development, and fun are a few things we focus on with UCC Youth and we do so in a variety of ways! See below how we celebrate community while learning more about our faith!

UCC Calls Kyle Powell as Director of Youth Ministry
A warm UCC welcome to Kyle Powell as he accepts the call to be our new Director of Youth Ministry. He has a passion for creating spaces where students can truly be themselves and engage in meaningful, safe, and edifying conversations. Holding a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, Kyle has served in various churches and roles over the past decade. He has always led with a focus on sharing the love and grace of Christ in ways that foster deeper relationships with one another and with God. Kyle is particularly excited about collaborating with a team committed to continuing the work of loving God and loving our neighbors UCC has been hard at work doing, this while still being committed to learning and deepening our understanding of the world around us and the Church’s role in the world.
Youth Ministry Fundraiser
We’re calling all youth families to sign up and volunteer to assist with TCU Football Parking. Not only is this fundraiser an important part of what makes our programming possible, it’s also a lot of fun!
Sunday Evening Youth Groups
Sundays | 5 PM | Returns on August 18th!
Youth Groups are an incredible way for our 6th – 12th Graders to connect and have a great time each week. Our Youth Group theme this year is Connection + Balance = Peace or CBP. We’ll spend our youth year leaning into finding Connection with our community and ourselves, finding Balance in the midst of chaos and creating Peace within our world and with God. We hope that you can join us as we cultivate meaningful community, have lots of laughs, and spend time with the sacred this fall!
YOUTH GROUP (6th-12th Grade) will meet from 5:00pm – 6:00pm
SNACK SUPPER will be held for all grades from 6:00pm – 6:30pm as an opportunity for all of us to gather for a meal
HANDBELLS will be from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM for youth who wish to participate
Sunday School
Sundays | 11:00 AM | Room 223 | Returns on August 18th!
Youth Sunday School (6th – 12th) balances our week by offering a deeper exploration of the Bible. It’s a time for connecting, engaging in spirited discussions, and accessing resources to better understand the teachings that shape our faith.
Community Groups
Starting Fall 2024!
Community Groups are for youth to spend time growing their faithful community in smaller group settings! Please sign up if you’re interested in joining – we’ll share more information with you soon.
