In 2022 the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) is focused on moving 2,200 people into affordable housing. Most of those moving into housing don’t have much more than what’s in their backpacks, so our church has committed to filling laundry baskets with essential household items to make an apartment feel like home.
New and gently used items from the list below are needed. You may bring your contributions to the UCC Porte Cochere on Sunday, January 9 between 4:30 and 6:00pm.
Volunteers are needed to help receive donated items on Sunday, January 9th from 3:30-6:30pm, assemble baskets later that week (Time TBD based on donations received), and deliver baskets to TCHC once they are assembled. Contact Carol Stewart for more information.Dine
