During the season of Lent—the 40 days leading up to Easter—we will be taking a journey to the Holy Land to retrace the footsteps of Jesus from his baptism to the temptations to the heart of his ministry, including the people he loved, the enemies he made, the parables he taught, and the roads that he traveled. Along the way we’ll look at the history to look at the way things were; explore the way things are today; and point with hope to the way things can be.

Lent Worship Series

Lenten Events

Midweek Lent Reflection

Wednesdays February 14 – March 27 | 6:30 pm | in the Sanctuary

Each week we will spend time focusing on scripture, prayer, and a variety of other spiritual practices. Each service will end with a time of silent meditation, increasing in length each week. This is a great way to begin a discipline of spiritual meditation as well as an opportunity for those who are more experienced to practice in a group setting. Childcare is available. For more information contact Shannon Moore.

Palm Sunday

March 24 | All Worship Services

We begin Holy Week by remembering Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. Our children will have the opportunity to process in with palm branches at all four of our worship services as we sing and declare, “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Easter at UCC
March 31

Easter is the celebration of Christ’s resurrection and victory over death! It reminds us that good overcomes evil; that hope and light fill the dark spaces of the world; that because Christ lives, we too shall live!
