Love Your Neighbor

Love Your Neighbor

As a nation, we are more divided, less kind, more polarized than we have ever been, especially when it comes to politics and elections.
Love Your Neighbor is a grassroots movement launched by University Christian Church that will focus on actively modeling kindness, working toward inclusive community, and working to undo polarization.

A ‘House United’ seminar

Join us for the ‘House United’ seminar led by Rev. Dr. Allen Hilton, Ph.D., on Saturday, October 19, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. In this seminar, we’ll explore the divine call to listen, collaborate, and build community across differences, turning thoughts into actions with four paths forward for University Christian Church.  Allen will also be preaching at UCC on Sunday, October 20.

“WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR?” Concert Event

September 22, 3:00 PM

UCC’s Music Ministry is pleased to host Tom Trenney for a special event highlighting the work of Mister Fred Rogers and related music. The Chancel Choir, Todd Prickett and Janet Pummill, will join Tom in this one-of-a-kind presentation.

This concert event will be held in the UCC Sanctuary and is free to the public. Please, follow Mister Rogers’ lead and invite a neighbor to attend with you! Additionally, we are pleased to welcome Tom into our morning worship services that morning. The Chancel Choir will sing one of his beautiful anthems and he will sing a familiar tune!

Como Food Pantry

The 3rd Friday of each month from 8-11 a.m., UCC joins our neighbors in Como to distribute groceries. All ages are welcome to bag groceries, break down boxes, hand bags to clients and get to know our neighbors! You can also bring your plastic grocery bags to the outreach office at any time, so that we can use them for the groceries.
