Room in the Inn

ROOM IN THE INN (RITI) provides UCC members of all ages a way to extend hospitality to men experiencing homelessness in our community by welcoming them to our church for a delicious dinner, a peaceful night’s sleep, and hearty breakfast before they return to True Worth Place, their daytime shelter.

There are many different volunteer roles needed to make this ministry possible: set-up, clean-up, drivers, dinner hosts, kitchen crew, overnight innkeepers, and more. Setting up for our guests and serving dinner is a great way for families to serve together, morning drivers that pick-up guests from the church at 7:15am can make it to the office by the time work starts.
